Prepared and baked with consummate skill, our Colomba takes its inspiration from the traditional recipe of expert Italian pastry chefs: 32 hours for the dough to rise, plus 12 hours for it to cool at room temperature, adding up to 3 days of leisurely, loving preparation.
Pastry ingredients (84%): wheat flour, candied orange peel (orange peel, glucose syrup, sugar), fresh free-range egg yolks, Carli extra virgin olive oil 7%, water, sugar, natural mother yeast (wheat flour, water), honey. Emulsiers: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, salt, natural flavorings.
Icing ingredients (16%): sugar, fresh free-range egg whites, almonds, Carli olive oil, rice flour, almond flour, apricot kernel flour.
May contain traces of soy and milk. Store in a cool dry place.
