Sundried Tomato Spread

The process

For our Sundried Tomato Spread, we use only firm, fleshy tomatoes, picked between July and September, sliced and dried on the grids. After they are ground, we add them to a number of genuine, selected ingredients to obtain a Spread with a unique consistency, flavor and aroma.

Dried tomato, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar of Modena (aceto balsamico di Modena P.G.I.) (wine vinegar, cooked grape must), salt, natural flavors, antioxidant: ascorbic acid.
Contains: sulphites. May contain traces of tree nuts, fish and milk.
Gluten free.

The eye-catching deep, lively red of our Sundried Tomato Spread is but a prelude to the fragrances and flavors unleashed by tasting it: the aromatic notes of sun dried tomatoes are enhanced by the sweet-and-sour nuances typical of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena P.G.I.

Store in a cool place, away from direct sources of heat. Once open, keep in the fridge, covered with a little oil, and use within a few days.

Our advice

Our Sundried Tomato Spread is the perfect condiment for a first course, to add flavor to a risotto or as a filling in a variety of recipes. It can also be used to prepare a quick, original aperitif by spreading it on some mini bruschettas, soft focaccia and bread croutons.
