Wine cookies
Red wine cookies are simple but delicious treats perfect for any occasion. The dough of these pastries is very similar to that of Torcetti, which are made with Marsala, the recipe for which can be found in our printed cookbook.

Making wine cookies

To make the red wine cookies, put the flour, the sugar, our Rossese di Dolceacqua D.O.C. wine, our Pure Olive Oil and the baking powder in a bowl. Slowly begin to amal-gamate all the ingredients until you have a smooth dough similar to that of shortcrust. For the white wine cookie variant, carry out the same steps but use our Pigato Riviera Ligure di Ponente D.O.C wine. instead.

Take a bit of dough and make little sausages about 1 cm in diameter, cut them to a length of about 6 cm and then fold over into a ring doughnut shape.

Transfer the wine donuts to a oven tray lined with parchment and bake in a hot con-ventional oven at 350°F for 15 minutes: the cookies will be ready when have turned light brown.
