Olive crop variety.
The typical local cultivar is known as the Taggiasca or Cailletier olive (an instance of true excellence, borne out of the olive-growing traditions of western Liguria, also known as Ponente Ligure). This is the variety that we cultivate in our Azienda Agricola olive grove and that we process in our oil mill. The result is an exclusive product known as Extra Virgin Olive Oil D.O.P. Riviera Ligure Riviera dei Fiori.
