Our Pesto is made from only the finest ingredients, such as Genoese basil P.D.O., our Extra Virgin Olive Oil . The basil is delicately crushed as it might be with a mortar in a homely kitchen, for an exquisite taste that preserves all its goodness, characteristic bright green color and genuine flavor.

A Mediterranean plant with ancient origins, in Liguria basil has found the ideal environment and the perfect growing methods to become a typical product with a Protected Denomination of Origin (P.D.O.) label. Its medium-small, tender, oval, convex leaves, light green in color, have a delicate aroma and flavor, balanced as in no other variety. Used to prepare pesto and minestrone soup, Ligurian basil is a symbol of the simple, fragrant cuisine of the whole region.
